Won by the Welsh Fury, KTP Bali 5’s tournament showcased the wheelchair rugby variation of WR5’s which meant 5 players on the court.This variation allows players that would not be classified the Paralympic 4’s to play the exciting sport of wheelchair rugby.Welsh Fury beat Singapore in an exciting final at the Bali Island School campus, Timor were 3rd with the Pacific Raiders (composed of Canadian, Australian and other players) coming fourth.
Other highlights was the first Uzbekistani referee, a stepping to introducing wheelchair rugby in the “Stans” and first appearance of Timor (similar to Ireland in the 6 nations), team composed of players from both sides of the island of Timor (Timor-Leste and Indonesia)
